AMD Says Compute Demand Still Exceeds Supply

$AMD CEO Lisa Su says compute demand continues to run above supply and expects strong demand to persist for the next several years, with AMD planning to substantially increase supply in 2027.
AMD has already increased supply this year but could still use additional capacity. Su credited TSMC with bringing more capacity online while noting that memory remains broadly supply constrained.
AMD is coordinating with memory suppliers and customers so capacity comes online together while keeping its existing business model unchanged. Su also called Taiwan critical to AMD and said the company plans to increase investment there while continuing to explore new packaging technologies.
