Gold Enters Bear Market After Falling Over 20% From Record High
Gold has fallen more than 20% from its record high, putting the precious metal in bear-market territory by the conventional threshold.
Gold is trading near $4,160 per ounce after reaching roughly $5,600 in January.
Prices fell about 6% in September as U.S. Treasury yields climbed to their highest levels since 2002.
