Wyoming Adopts Chainlink Proof of Reserve to Secure FRNT Stablecoin

Wyoming has adopted Chainlink Proof of Reserve to provide near-real-time, onchain verification of the reserves backing its Frontier Stable Token (FRNT), the first stablecoin issued directly by a U.S. state. The system will publish verified reserve data onchain, moving beyond the periodic attestation-report model most regulated stablecoins currently use.
The move builds on Wyoming's earlier migration of FRNT's cross-chain infrastructure from LayerZero to Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) in August, following a security review that flagged concerns with LayerZero's operational practices. Roughly $15 billion in onchain value has migrated from LayerZero to CCIP industrywide.
