JUST IN: Chainalysis Estimates Global Taxable On-Chain Crypto Activity Reached $457 Billion in 2025

Global taxable on-chain cryptocurrency activity reached at least $457 billion in 2025, according to new estimates from Chainalysis.
The blockchain analytics firm highlighted that despite the massive volume of taxable transactions, the OECD’s Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework (CARF) currently covers just 14% of those on-chain flows.
