AT&T and Corning sign fiber supply agreement worth more than $3 billion

$T and $GLW have signed a multi-year fiber supply agreement worth more than $3 billion, with Corning providing fiber and cable for AT&T's U.S. network expansion.
The agreement supports AT&T's target of reaching 60 million Americans with fiber by the end of 2030. AT&T says its average fiber household now consumes more than 1 TB of data per month, roughly five times 2016 levels, and expects usage to reach 2–2.5 TB by 2030 as streaming, cloud services and AI increase network demand.
Corning will supply the products through its U.S. manufacturing operations. AT&T also reiterated its existing financial outlook, which already incorporates the agreement.
