Bitcoin's early market depth shows how far liquidity has come

HISTORY: Fifteen years ago, early $BTC exchange data showed just how thin Bitcoin's market once was.
Roughly $800,000 of selling pressure was enough to push Bitcoin toward $9, while around $300,000 of buying could move it toward $13.
Those numbers highlight the extreme lack of liquidity in Bitcoin's early market compared with today.
What once could be moved dramatically by hundreds of thousands of dollars has evolved into an asset traded globally by institutions, ETFs and major financial firms.
