SpaceXAI reshuffles data-center leadership after reported infrastructure issues

SpaceXAI has reportedly replaced several data-center leaders after physical infrastructure chief Jake Palmer left in July alongside other executives, according to The Information.
Elon Musk has since moved leaders from SpaceX rocket and Starbase operations onto the infrastructure team as the company works through reported civil-engineering and reliability concerns at facilities in Tennessee and Mississippi.
Some sites reportedly operated for months without full backup cooling and power systems, while timelines for additional data centers outside Memphis, including projects in Texas, have been pushed back.
$SPCX had roughly 1.4 GW of compute capacity online as of June and is targeting more than 2 GW by year-end, making execution on physical infrastructure a key constraint on further AI expansion.
