$BE's Overlooked Edge: Gas Turbine Costs Projected to Rise ~3.5x to $3,000/kW by 2030 as Bloom Fuel Cells...

The author says one of the most overlooked parts of the $BE story is how quickly gas turbines are losing their cost advantage, with costs projected to rise ~3.5x to $3,000/kW by 2030 while Bloom's fuel cell pricing reaches ~$3,900/kW.
That gap becomes even more interesting when turbine lead times are stretching as long as seven years and Bloom can generate power directly at data centers without waiting on traditional grid connections.
And when $NVDA CEO Jensen Huang estimates a 1 GW AI factory could generate ~$40B annually, even a three-month delay could mean ~$10B in lost revenue, which is why getting power online faster could be worth far more than saving on upfront equipment costs.
