NYSE Adds Four Major Partners as Wall Street Moves Closer to Tokenized Stock Trading

The New York Stock Exchange is expanding its blockchain infrastructure with four additional transfer agent partners: Broadridge, Computershare, Equiniti and Superstate.
The companies join Securitize and tZERO in supporting the NYSE's planned tokenized securities trading platform.
Transfer agents maintain shareholder ownership records and help manage corporate actions. Their involvement is important because tokenized stocks must preserve legal ownership rights and investor protections, not simply represent shares as blockchain tokens.
Broadridge $BR is also expected to support onchain shareholder governance, including voting and related services.
The NYSE platform remains subject to regulatory approval and has not yet launched. It is also separate from the tokenized securities initiative involving OKX and ICE.
The development marks another step toward connecting traditional equity markets with blockchain-based infrastructure.
