Anthropic IPO Filing Reveals Staggering $518 Billion Infrastructure Commitment
Anthropic's upcoming IPO filing has revealed a massive $518 billion infrastructure and compute commitment, marking one of the largest financial obligations ever disclosed by an artificial intelligence company.
The filing details multi-billion dollar agreements, including at least $111.1 billion owed to Google through July 2033, $110 billion to Amazon through April 2036, and $31.4 billion to Microsoft through May 2033.
Furthermore, the agreements feature strict "must-pay" clauses and include roughly $161.2 billion in non-cancelable Broadcom-related equipment lease obligations, leaving the company locked into the spending even if growth slows.
The disclosures arrive as Anthropic scales rapidly—reporting revenue rising 12-fold to nearly $4.6 billion in 2025, alongside a net loss of $42 billion and $7.33 billion spent on compute and infrastructure.
