Trump warns of further strikes on Iran as Washington weighs next military move

President Donald Trump has warned that the United States could launch further military action against Iran, saying Washington will soon decide whether to expand its operations.
Speaking at the White House on November 5, Trump said he would prefer to avoid further destruction but suggested additional strikes remain an option.
"I would rather not destroy the rest of the country if possible, but maybe I'll have to," Trump told reporters, adding that a decision would become clear soon.
Trump also claimed Iran could take 25 years to rebuild following the damage caused by the conflict, while suggesting further action could be necessary to prevent Tehran from reviving its nuclear program.
His remarks came as the administration reviewed its military options and diplomatic efforts continued. Iran has reportedly submitted a proposal concerning its nuclear program through intermediaries.
The possibility of renewed US strikes adds uncertainty to Middle Eastern security and energy markets, particularly given Iran's strategic position near the Strait of Hormuz.
No final decision on additional military operations has been announced.
