Tokenized stocks are starting to move on-chain

$COIN ’s tokenized stocks added $5.6M in DeFi deposits over the past seven days, putting them ahead of Robinhood at $1.8M and Binance at $1.6M.
The interesting part isn’t the size. It’s where the money is going.
These tokens aren’t just being traded. They’re being moved into lending markets, liquidity pools and other DeFi venues, where they can actually be used.
That gives Coinbase a more interesting position in the tokenization race. But one strong week isn’t enough to call a trend. I’d watch whether those deposits keep growing and whether the tokens become meaningful collateral across DeFi.
If tokenized stocks can keep moving from “tradeable exposure” to useful onchain collateral, the COIN story gets more interesting too.
For traders exploring this shift, Tyrian Trade’s marketplace has indicators and trading education tools for building a more structured approach.
