Bitcoin Exchange Inflows From 6–12 Month Holders Drop Sharply
Sell pressure from a key group of Bitcoin holders appears to be easing.
According to CryptoQuant, only 4.4% of moved $BTC aged between 6 and 12 months recently reached exchanges.
That is down sharply from 40.4% in June.
The decline matters because coins moving onto exchanges are often associated with a higher likelihood of selling.
A lower share of these older coins reaching exchanges suggests holders in this cohort are becoming less willing to distribute into the market.
That does not guarantee immediate upside for $BTC.
But if exchange inflows from medium-term holders continue falling, one important source of potential sell pressure could keep weakening.
The broader signal is that conviction among older holders may be improving even while market sentiment remains volatile.
