Michael Saylor Declares Bitcoin 'Gold Rush,' Targeting $120 Trillion Upside as Strategy Expands Holdings
MicroStrategy Executive Chairman Michael Saylor has asserted that Bitcoin has entered "hyper-growth mode," framing the current market as a digital gold rush that could eventually capture 10% of the world's $1,200 trillion in global assets.
Comparing Bitcoin's fixed supply to gold's annual 2% dilution rate, Saylor argued that Bitcoin serves as the world's digital capital with an infinite wealth half-life. He urged investors to accumulate supply before 2035, by which time 99% of all Bitcoin will have been mined.
Meanwhile, Strategy continues to back its aggressive long-term thesis with capital, adding 1,665 Bitcoin to its balance sheet in its latest acquisition—bringing its total corporate reserves to 847,666 BTC valued at approximately $70.4 billion.
