Tesla ($TSLA) sold 486,532 vehicles globally from July through September, down 2% from a year earlier and reversing two quarters of growth.
Still, deliveries came in above Wall Street's estimate of 463,761.
Tesla's energy business was stronger, with battery deployments rising 9.6% in the quarter.
