OpenAI and Anthropic Expand AI Into Chip Design and Engineering

OpenAI is expanding into AI-powered computer-aided design (CAD), chip design, and engineering simulations. The company is also growing its partnership with Chip Ganassi Racing and has unveiled a collaboration with Mazda.
Anthropic ($ANT) is reportedly making similar moves. According to The Information, the company has told IPO investors that a new 15-person team is using Claude to accelerate custom chip design.
