Elon Musk’s Massive AI Infrastructure Push Drives Major Wins for Nvidia Investors
SpaceX has reported a massive 161% year-over-year jump in third-quarter revenue to $14.6 billion, with its AI unit surging ninefold to $7.56 billion and generating its first profitable quarter.
During the earnings call, CEO Elon Musk highlighted that the company's upcoming Colossus II cluster will lean heavily on Nvidia's ($NVDA) Vera Rubin platform, with plans to deploy a training cluster of 440,000 Vera Rubin computers by the end of the second quarter of 2027.
The aggressive infrastructure buildout is backed by lucrative cloud leasing agreements—including multi-billion-dollar deals with Anthropic and Google—underscoring robust, long-term demand for Nvidia's high-performance hardware as AI compute requirements continue to expand.
