Kraken Parent Payward Plans to Offer U.S. Perpetual Futures on Hyperliquid via Bitnomial

Payward, the parent company of cryptocurrency exchange Kraken, plans to offer perpetual futures to eligible U.S. clients through the decentralized derivatives network Hyperliquid, pending regulatory approval.
Under the proposed structure tied to Hyperliquid's HIP-3 upgrade, Bitnomial—the CFTC-regulated exchange acquired by Payward—would deploy, clear, and settle the contracts. NinjaTrader Clearing would carry client accounts behind allowlists.
The move represents a significant push to bridge decentralized trading infrastructure with a fully compliant U.S. regulatory framework, opening a potential pathway for American traders to access Hyperliquid-linked derivative products.
