Tom Lee Calls Markets a “Coiled Spring” and Buys the AI Dip
Tom Lee of Fundstrat believes falling Treasury yields and declining expectations of further Fed rate hikes are creating a more bullish market setup.
The 10-year Treasury yield previously climbed from 4.6% to nearly 5.5%, raising concerns that it could reach 6%, but has since pulled back sharply.
Meanwhile, the probability of an October Fed rate hike reportedly dropped from 55% to 5%, while December hike expectations fell from 98% to 67%.
Lee describes the market as a “coiled spring” and says he is buying the AI selloff, viewing the recent weakness as a potential opportunity.
