Trump: "Whoever Wins With AI Wins" as He Downplays Safety Concerns

President Trump said the U.S. is "leading China in AI" and that he wants to keep it that way. He said guardrails could be added, but argued that "a lot of negative forces" are "bringing up things that won't happen."
"Whoever wins with AI wins," Trump said, calling it a phrase he coined. "It's true."
