AT&T and T-Mobile May Drop Boost Mobile if SpaceX Acquires It From EchoStar

AT&T ($T) and T-Mobile ($TMUS) may end their network agreements with Boost Mobile if SpaceX ($SPCX) acquires the business from EchoStar ($SATS), according to Semafor.
Boost Mobile operates without its own cellular towers and relies on network capacity leased from the two major carriers.
The potential deal also adds to the growing push toward satellite-to-phone connectivity. AST SpaceMobile ($ASTS) is partnering with major wireless carriers, while Rocket Lab ($RKLB) is acquiring Iridium for $8 billion.
