$SNPS Signs $1 Billion-Plus Multi-Year Custom Silicon Deal With $AMZN

Synopsys ($SNPS) just signed a multi-year custom silicon deal worth more than $1 billion with Amazon ($AMZN), covering Nitro, Graviton and Trainium.
The post says it is interesting to see Synopsys shift to an Arm ($ARM)-like license-plus-royalty model, giving it direct upside as hyperscalers scale more of their own chips.
