Amazon has launched the $74.99 Bee Frontier, an AI wearable that can be fastened to clothes or worn on the wrist. When activated, it listens to conversations and uses AI to create to-do lists, summaries, and reminders. Amazon is also introducing the $99.99 Bee Eclipse, a credit card-sized model that magnetically attaches to the back of a smartphone and offers over 21 days of battery life.
The Frontier has two noise-filtering microphones, a seven-day battery life, USB-C charging, and IP67 water protection. Consumers can access 14 days of recollection, chat summaries, and recaps without a subscription.
The wider service starts with Bee Pro at $11.99 per month, or $143.88 for 12 months, about twice the price of the Frontier itself. The subscription includes unlimited recent chat summaries, Alexa+, Amazon.com connections, third-party apps, recommended tasks, daily recollections, and a personal AI assistant. New customers get a 30-day Bee Pro trial.
According to Amazon, connecting Bee to Amazon.com can surface products mentioned in conversation and later show relevant recommendations on Amazon.com or inside Bee's apps. Alexa+ integration also lets users ask an Echo device for information Bee remembered earlier, such as meeting summaries or tasks.
Amazon says neither device stores raw audio, transcripts are encrypted with keys generated and managed by the user's device, and nobody, including Amazon, can access transcripts unless the user chooses to share them. Both devices have visible indicator lights and a button to turn processing on or off.
Amazon acquired Bee in 2025, when the startup was selling a roughly $50 AI bracelet. Amazon has not revealed how many Bee users pay for Pro.
