Tether-Backed Utexo Secures License to Bring USDT Back to Bitcoin

Tether's $184 billion $USDT is set to return to Bitcoin this month through Tether-backed Utexo, which has secured a license to issue USDT on the Bitcoin network.
The integration would allow users to send USDT privately, swap it directly with $BTC, and borrow against Bitcoin without wrapping it. USDT originally launched on Bitcoin in 2014 before expanding primarily across Ethereum and Tron.
