Google Adds Cheminformatics Skills to Antigravity AI for Drug Discovery
Google ($GOOGL) has introduced Cheminformatics Skills for its Antigravity AI platform, saying drug-discovery workflows that typically take days can now be completed in roughly one hour.
A demonstration focused on lung cancer drugs crizotinib and lorlatinib and included a curated dataset of 568 compounds.
The development is particularly relevant to small-molecule oncology research, an area more closely aligned with Tempus AI ($TEM) than Moderna ($MRNA), whose medicines use a different mRNA-based approach.
Google cautioned that compounds designed by AI remain hypotheses and still require laboratory synthesis and validation.
