Palantir CEO Alex Karp says company aims to dominate AI software market as revenue jumps 96%

Palantir $PLTR CEO Alex Karp has made clear that the company has no intention of settling for a small share of the enterprise AI market.
Speaking during Palantir's third-quarter earnings call, Karp said the company's ambition to capture the entire market no longer appears as unrealistic as it once did.
"Once you go Palantir, you don't go back," Karp said, pointing to strong customer demand and the company's expanding role in commercial and government operations.
His comments followed another record quarter for the software company.
Palantir reported $2.31 billion in revenue, up 96% year over year, while US commercial revenue surged 148% to $984 million.
For the first time, its US commercial business generated more revenue than its US government operations, which brought in $953 million.
Karp also emphasized what he described as Palantir's commitment to protecting customers' competitive advantages and control over their own data and operations.
The company sees that approach as a key differentiator as enterprises move beyond AI pilot programs toward large-scale deployment.
Palantir raised its full-year revenue forecast to approximately $8.53 billion, reflecting continued demand for its AI software.
Despite the strong results, investors remain focused on whether the company's growth can justify its elevated valuation, particularly as competition in enterprise AI intensifies.
