Tom Lee: The 40-Hour Work Week Is "Mostly a Myth"

Tom Lee says the 40-hour work week is "mostly a myth," arguing that AI could replace a large share of actual work without necessarily eliminating the jobs themselves.
He says only around 20% to 25% of the average work week is spent doing actual core work, with much of the rest going to preparing, emails, and other non-core tasks. Lee suggests AI may automate large parts of that workload while people still keep the same job titles.
