$SPCX Starlink Mobile Could Reach ~$65B Revenue by 2031

Starlink Mobile is projected to reach roughly $65 billion in annual revenue by 2031 with only about 8% of the global mobile market.
That implies a potential addressable market approaching $800 billion and suggests the opportunity extends far beyond rural satellite coverage.
Starship is a major part of that thesis.
A V2 Mobile launch could reportedly support around 60 times more users than a Falcon 9 launch carrying first-generation satellites.
That would allow $SPCX to scale network capacity much faster and potentially bring down the cost of serving each additional subscriber.
The same market also supports the long-term opportunity for $ASTS.
AST SpaceMobile’s carrier partnerships already provide access to roughly 3 billion potential subscribers, giving it a very different distribution model from building a consumer base entirely from scratch.
The key point is that direct-to-device connectivity may be large enough for multiple winners.
If satellite networks can reliably extend mobile coverage using ordinary phones, both $SPCX and $ASTS could build substantial businesses without the market becoming winner-take-all.
The bigger question is how quickly launch capacity, spectrum, regulation and handset integration can scale to turn that potential subscriber base into recurring revenue.
