Selling Facebook at Lockup Would Have Cost Investors a 13x Return
Joel Shulman, CIO at ERShares, says the last 15 technology IPOs fell roughly 50% from their peaks between the pre-lockup and post-lockup periods. Investors who sold into those declines often missed the eventual recovery.
Facebook later gained roughly 10–15x from its pre-lockup low , and Shulman believes $SPCX could follow a similar pattern.
As $SPCX’s float begins unlocking on August 6 , potential Nasdaq 100 index demand could help provide support for the stock.
