CrowdStrike to Acquire Fiddler AI and Dreadnode to Expand AI Security

CrowdStrike ($CRWD) has signed definitive agreements to acquire AI security companies Fiddler AI and Dreadnode. The Wall Street Journal reports that the combined deal is valued at $495 million, although CrowdStrike has not disclosed the purchase price.
The two acquisitions cover different stages of the AI agent lifecycle:
- Fiddler AI monitors and explains AI agent behavior after deployment.
- Dreadnode tests AI models for security vulnerabilities before deployment.
Both deals are expected to close in CrowdStrike’s fiscal fourth quarter of 2027, with the acquired technologies set to be integrated into its Falcon platform.
