Meta's ($META) new AI agent, Muse, is growing faster than ChatGPT.
Muse reportedly hit 5 million downloads just 22 days after launch.
For comparison:
- ChatGPT took 56 days
- Grok took 103 days
- Claude took 492 days
Muse has also held the spot on the U.S. App Store free iPhone chart for 12 straight days.
The catch is distribution. Muse launched on both iOS and Android from day one, while Meta has also poured significant advertising behind the app.
Still, the traction matters.
Muse can send emails, book travel, fill out forms and make purchases for users, putting Meta directly into the race for consumer AI agents, not just chatbots.
