CIA Deputy Director Michael Ellis said Bitcoin is "not truly anonymous" and that the agency can use it to collect intelligence on adversaries.
In an interview last year, Ellis said the CIA tracks crypto used by drug cartels and terrorist groups.
He called Bitcoin "another tool in the toolbox" to "collect more intelligence."
