$AAPL Makes Leadership Transition Official as John Ternus Becomes CEO

$AAPL has officially updated its leadership structure, naming John Ternus as CEO and Tim Cook as Executive Chair.
The change marks the beginning of a new era for one of the world’s most valuable companies.
Ternus takes over a business valued at nearly $4.75 trillion.
For comparison, when Tim Cook became CEO in 2011, $AAPL was worth roughly $350 billion.
That means Apple’s market value increased more than thirteenfold during Cook’s tenure.
As Executive Chair, Cook will remain involved at the board level while Ternus takes responsibility for leading the company’s next phase.
Investors will now be watching how $AAPL approaches AI, hardware innovation, services growth and the broader evolution of its ecosystem under new leadership.
