Xi Says China and US Are "Capable" and Have the "Responsibility" to Manage AI "for Good"

Chinese President Xi Jinping says China and the U.S. are "capable" and have the "responsibility" to manage AI "for good."
Xi also stated that:
- China welcomes U.S. companies to invest and do business in the country
- Chinese companies should be treated fairly in the U.S.
- AI should remain under human control and serve people's well-being
- China is willing to strengthen counter-narcotics and law-enforcement cooperation
- Both sides should increase direct flights to support travel and trade
"Without our cooperation, it would be hard to solve many of the world's problems," Xi said.
