Eric Trump Says Traditional Banking Cannot Beat Crypto

Eric Trump says traditional banking is unlikely to win the long-term race against crypto.
His argument is simple:
Legacy payment systems such as SWIFT are slower, more expensive and less user-friendly than blockchain-based alternatives.
Crypto, in his view, offers a faster and more transparent financial system with fewer intermediaries.
He is also increasingly bullish on Bitcoin itself.
Trump says he believes $BTC could become one of the world’s great assets and long-term stores of value.
That conviction appears to have grown through his involvement with American Bitcoin.
Despite coming from a real-estate background, he says seeing the physical infrastructure behind Bitcoin mining — servers, power consumption and operating costs — made the asset feel much more tangible.
The bigger theme is not just Bitcoin.
It is the idea that financial infrastructure is gradually moving from legacy banking rails toward blockchain-based systems.
For traditional banks, the pressure is becoming harder to ignore.
