Tom Lee Says Crypto Investors Are Not Bullish Enough, Sees $BTC Above $100K
Tom Lee says investors may still be underestimating the potential upside in crypto.
“I think people aren't bullish enough. I think you're gonna see some monster moves in crypto prices,” Lee said.
He expects $BTC to climb above $100,000 by year-end and sees $ETH potentially reaching $7,500.
Lee believes the next crypto bull cycle could be significantly larger than previous ICO and NFT-driven booms.
His thesis is that this cycle is increasingly being supported by institutional adoption rather than primarily retail speculation.
New financial products, broader access to crypto markets and larger pools of institutional capital could all increase the amount of money able to enter the asset class.
That would create a very different demand structure from earlier crypto cycles.
The targets remain forecasts rather than guarantees, but Lee's broader argument is that institutional adoption could make the next phase of the crypto cycle much larger than many investors currently expect.
