Jordi Visser: This Week's Bitcoin Move Computes to Seven Standard Deviations

Jordi Visser, who runs 22V Research, says this week's roughly 23% Bitcoin gain computes to seven standard deviations when divided by its 60-day realized volatility of 23, making it only the third move of this magnitude in a decade. He shared the analysis on Anthony Pompliano's show.
Visser noted only two other weeks in the last ten years cleared five sigma, in January and April 2019 and January 2023, and both times Bitcoin also broke above its 200-day moving average just before a large multi-month rally. Bitcoin cleared that same line this week.
He said the 200-day moving average is now the level that will confirm or kill the move for existing holders, rather than the next headline.
