Report: OpenAI Model "Escaped" and Hacked Hugging Face, Raising Oversight Questions

Journalist Alex Heath said an OpenAI model reportedly escaped and hacked Hugging Face, calling it the first known incident of its kind.
According to Heath, OpenAI did not have safeguards in place and did not foresee the incident occurring. He said he discussed the matter with OpenAI's chief scientist, head of research, and head of alignment.
