Michael Saylor Says $BTC Is Entering Its Next Bull Run
Michael Saylor believes Bitcoin is at the beginning of its next bull run after rebounding sharply from the 200-week moving average.
Speaking with Charles Schwab, Saylor said $BTC bounced from the long-term technical level and then rallied roughly $20,000 above it.
He views that move as evidence that the market may be transitioning into a new bullish cycle.
Saylor also argues that several headwinds from the previous cycle are beginning to ease.
Those include regulatory pressure, competition for investor capital from the AI trade and restrictions around traditional financial institutions offering Bitcoin-related services.
At the same time, he sees new tailwinds emerging from bank custody, Bitcoin-backed credit products, clearer regulatory guidance and the broader tokenization of financial assets.
These factors could make it easier for institutional capital to gain exposure to $BTC through traditional financial infrastructure.
Saylor said Strategy holds roughly 845,000 BTC alongside about $5 billion in cash, putting its total reserve assets above $75 billion at the referenced valuation.
The bull-run call remains Saylor’s outlook rather than a guaranteed market outcome, but his thesis is that both technical momentum and institutional infrastructure are improving at the same time.
