Nebius Surges 30%+ After Earnings as Shorts Face a Demand-Side Reality Check

Nebius surged more than 30% after earnings. Michael Burry had been short and calling the company a fraud.
Ben Pouladian of ETN argued that Burry led people “blindly into the slaughterhouse,” saying a move of that size in a company of Nebius’ scale suggests shorts were covering.
The argument is that Burry focused on the numbers and stock chart without checking who was buying the compute.
Nebius is selling short-term contracts at high prices because compute remains tight.
If you are short a neocloud based on a spreadsheet, check the demand side first.
