Crypto Exchange BitMart Shuts Down as Users Report Blocked Withdrawals

BitMart is winding down its operations, while users are reporting that they have been unable to withdraw funds from the crypto exchange.
BitMart says trading services will end on August 26, 2026, with the platform scheduled to cease operations entirely on January 31, 2027. The company recommends that users submit withdrawal requests before August 26.
Users and employees have demanded greater transparency over the exchange’s reserves, liabilities and withdrawal restrictions, with an August 19 deadline for answers.
