AST SpaceMobile ($ASTS) now has over 60 ground gateways in development worldwide as it targets initial satellite coverage on regular smartphones before the end of 2026.
The author says it is great to see carrier partners helping fund the ground infrastructure so $ASTS can focus more of its capital on expanding its constellation as commercial service gets closer.
