OpenAI Launches GPT-Image-2.5 Across ChatGPT, Codex, and Work

OpenAI has released GPT-Image-2.5 across ChatGPT, Codex, and Work for all users.
The update also introduces two new image models to the API, including GPT-Image-2.5 Flare, which delivers higher-quality generation and editing with 50% lower latency than GPT-Image-2.
Additionally, the company launched GPT-Image-2.5 Sunburst, designed for premium creative workflows that require tighter editing control and production-ready output.
