Quantinuum Reports 99.9995% Logical Fidelity on Helios Quantum Computer

Quantum computing company Quantinuum has reportedly achieved 99.9995% logical operation fidelity on its Helios system, equivalent to approximately five errors per million operations.
The company claims the result represents a tenfold improvement over its previous record and approximately 100 times fewer errors than a published Google $GOOGL result.
Quantinuum also reports that increasing error-correction strength reduced logical errors by approximately 12 times, suggesting progress toward more reliable quantum computation.
The achievement reportedly places the company ahead of its 2027 accuracy target as it works toward fault-tolerant quantum computing by 2029. Comparisons across quantum systems require careful attention to experimental conditions and benchmark definitions.
