A crude 3D movie made by a Chinese mother-and-son team on a home computer has reportedly beaten "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" at China's daily box office.
The $1,000 production, titled "Niu Lai," earned less than $1,000 in its first week before online mockery turned it into a viral hit, pushing total sales to nearly $20 million.
