Rocket Lab is buying Iridium

$RKLB announced it has agreed to acquire $IRDM in an 8 billion dollar cash-and-stock deal.
This is a major move for Rocket Lab.
Launch is important, but recurring communications services, spectrum, and satellite infrastructure can turn a space company into a real platform.
The market will now have to decide whether $RKLB is still just a launch story or something much bigger.
