Analyst Ben Pouladian: $NVDA's Slower Growth Guidance Reflects Supply Cap, Not Weak Demand
Ben Pouladian said Nvidia guided to 70% year-over-year growth after growing 100% the prior quarter, arguing this reflects a supply cap rather than a demand problem.
Pouladian, speaking after attending Hot Chips at Stanford where Nvidia, AMD, Cerebras, and Etched defended their roadmaps the same week as Nvidia's Q2 print, said the company is capping its own growth number because it cannot build fast enough, not because customers are pulling back. He estimated 40,000 to 50,000 Nvidia employees are working on the supply chain around the clock, a scale of execution he said the market isn't pricing in.
etn. co-hosts Ronan Chambers and Luke Knight pushed him on why the skepticism persists anyway.
